CAIRO -- The first truck loaded with about 25,000 liters of fuel crossed the Egyptian side of Rafah crossing on Wednesday en route to the Gaza Strip, according to an Egyptian security source.

The fuel would be delivered to the United Nations to facilitate the delivery of aid and would enter Gaza directly without inspection by the Israeli side, the source told Xinhua on conditions of anonymity. (Egypt-Gaza-Fuel Aid)

GAZA -- Paltel warned Wednesday noon that the Gaza Strip could lose all communications and internet services in a few hours as fuel is running out in the besieged enclave.

JERUSALEM -- Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Spokesman Daniel Hagari said on Wednesday that IDF troops raided the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, Gaza's largest hospital, adding that the evidence found in the hospital "proves beyond any doubt that Hamas operated a military command center inside."

ADEN, Yemen -- The United Nations (UN) Special Envoy for Yemen Hans Grundberg concluded Wednesday a visit to Saudi Arabia's capital Riyadh, where he met with Yemeni and Saudi officials to discuss efforts toward political settlement of Yemen's civil conflict.

In a brief press statement, the UN envoy said he had held talks with Rashad Al-Alimi, the chairman of Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council, and other senior Yemeni officials in Riyadh. (Yemen-UN-Peace Efforts)
