The Health Ministry said on Friday that Israeli airstrikes targeted the ports of Al-Salif and Al-Hudaydah.

The attacks left at least one person dead and nine others injured.

The ministry noted that the figures are not final.

The Foreign Ministry in Sanaa vowed retaliation, calling the Israeli attacks a violation of Yemens sovereignty and international law.

We will deliver a painful response to the repeated Israeli aggressions against Yemens ports, the ministry said in a statement.

The statement described the Israeli strikes as a clear breach of the United Nations Charter and international law.

It added that repeated attacks on Yemens infrastructure show Israels humiliating failure to achieve its goals.

Yemen also condemned the international communitys silence over the airstrikes.

The statement urged Arab leaders attending a summit in Baghdad to adopt a strong collective stance in support of the Palestinian people.

Yemen reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Gaza, including efforts to impose a naval and aerial blockade on Israel.

Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of Yemens Supreme Political Council, said the rise in failed terrorist attacks by Israel was not surprising.
