TEHRAN (Tasnim) A senior Yemeni official said military pressure is the only way to stop Israeli atrocities against Gaza, emphasizing that Israel responds only to force.

The unrelenting attacks on the Gaza Strip can only be stopped through exertion of military pressure on the Zionist regime, as it only responds to force, Yemens Deputy Minister of Information Nasruddin Amer said on Saturday.
He added, By the grace of God, the Yemeni Armed Forces will utilize all their might to expand the scope of the conflict and intensify pressure on the occupying regimes domestic front. We can thereby end the suffering and plight of oppressed people of Gaza.
The remarks came after Yemens military claimed responsibility for a new missile strike against central Israel on Thursday night.
According to the Yemeni military, the attack involved a hypersonic ballistic missile aimed at Ben Gurion Airport.
In a televised statement aired by al-Masirah, Yemeni military spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree said the campaign would continue until the Israeli aggression on Gaza stops and the blockade is lifted.
We will continue to ban Israeli air traffic to and from Ben Gurion Airport, Saree said.
As fighting in Gaza intensified, Yemen imposed a blockade on key maritime routes in a bid to prevent the transfer of weapons to Israel and pressure global powers to respond to the worsening humanitarian crisis.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have stated they will not cease their operations unless Israel ends its military actions in Gaza.
More than 54,000 Palestinians most of them women and children have reportedly been killed in the Israeli genocidal war so far.
